Once you've set up your quiz template you are ready to add quiz questions. Click 'Create Question'.

Question types:
Choice = multiple choice type
Essay = typing in a response
Likert = is a radio button type of input
Message = Message only
Form = data input
NOTE: You only get to choose this once and if you choose the wrong type the only thing you can do is delete the question or make the question inactive so it doesn't show up in the final quiz.
CHOICE
Set up the question as required, then click ‘Save’.
Once saved, you’ll be able to add the answer selections – Click ‘Add item’.
Display | Write the answer option here. |
Code | Only for your/internal reference – this won’t be seen by the person taking the quiz. |
Order | The order that it will appear in the list of options. |
Correct | Tick if this is a correct option (you may select more than one correct response). |
Disabled | Tick ‘Disabled’ if you don’t want the question to show for the student – this can be while you are setting up or editing a quiz or to delete a question. |
Once completed click ‘Save’.
To make any edits later – select ‘edit’ from Choice Items screen above, then make any required changes.
Exit back out to the quiz template screen then click ‘Test’ to see how the question will appear to the student.
When testing the question you can also see and test the hint text if added. This won't be seen by students unless they get the question wrong the first time.
